Santa Cruz County is under an updated tornado warning which was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 12:40 p.m. The warning is in effect until 1 p.m.

Data from aircraft-tracking website FlightRadar24 showed the average delay was about 24 minutes as of 11 a.m., but the FAA advisory warned delays could worsen later in the day. Average delays were expected to approach two hours, with maximum delays reaching up to three hours.

The National Weather Service released an updated tornado warning at 9:01 p.m. on Thursday in effect until 9:15 p.m. for DeKalb and Jackson counties.

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A Tornado Warning was issued for the island of Niʻihau located in Kauaʻi County on the morning of Dec. 19. The warning was issued by the National Weather Service through 7 a.m. According to the NWS, the radar showed the tornado made landfall.

On Thursday at 12:19 p.m. a tornado warning was released by the NWS San Francisco CA in effect until 1 p.m. for Santa Cruz County.
