A new amber flood alert has been issued in Greater Manchester as the region feels the effects of Storm Bram. Downpours battered the region overnight and on Tuesday morning (December 9), while gusty winds are affecting parts of the UK. The Environment Agency issued two amber flood alerts for Greater Manchester earlier today, across the upper and lower River Irwell catchments.
